In easier to understand words, SOLMATE EU-funded project is committed to the journey to net-zero through clean electrification. Over the next 4 years we will develop and implement innovative technologies for the reuse and recycling of photovoltaic (PV) panels and electric vehicles (EV) batteries.
These innovations aren’t just on paper – they’ll demonstrate low-cost decentralised energy systems in three different real-world situations with the aim to make sustainable energy accessible and affordable:
